TAMPA, FLA. – Securitas, one of the world’s largest security firms, has been retained by Stonelake Ranch to provide visitor monitoring and patrol services for this private, 685-acre community on Lake Thonotosassa in eastern Hillsborough County.
With roughly 450 branches and 100,000 employees in the United States, Securitas USA is considered an industry leader in this country. In fact, the company recently received the coveted “Top 125" Award from Training magazine, which recognized the company’s training, development and business practices.
At Stonelake Ranch, Securitas officers staff the community’s main entrance 24 hours a day, and provide mobile patrols of the community seven days a week.
The local branch of Securitas USA is located in Lakeland.
Situated along 900-acre Lake Thonotosassa, Stonelake Ranch will have just 160 executive and estate homes when built out. Ranging in size from 1.5 to nearly 19 acres, homesites were designed to retain the natural character of this former Florida ranch.
More than a third of Stonelake Ranch’s homesites border the lake – Hillsborough County’s largest – providing 10,000 feet of lakefront, sweeping water views as well as an island bird sanctuary. Residents can sail or ski from the community’s boat ramp, then return to Stonelake Ranch’s lakeside community lodge with a large deck, fishing dock and common areas for gatherings and special events.
Residences are being built by some of the area’s best-known custom and semi-custom home-building companies. The community’s preferred home builders include Alvarez Homes, Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Bartlett Custom Homes, Campagna Custom Homes and John Cannon Homes and The Fechtel Co.
Residences must contain at least 3,500 square feet of living space if built on the water. Homes off the water can provide no less than 3,000 square feet of living space. Residential pricing runs from about $500,000 to more than $5 million including homesite.
Stonelake Ranch allows home owners to build private residential compounds – not just homes – with main houses, guest cottages, gazebos and much more ... all on one homesite. Moreover, they can build horse stables and enjoy the community’s 40-foot-wide riding trails and 120 acres of undisturbed meadows.
